Tee off at TopGolf on Saturday, Sept 19, 2020 from 9am – 1PM and help combat Opioid Addiction! Each ticket is good for 3.5 hours of golfing and one hour with a Golf Pro. In addition, a come-and-go buffet, offering breakfast & lunch, will be provided. Individual and Sponsorship Pricing is available. Get directions here.

What Is Addiction?

Addiction is the most severe form of substance use disorder, associated with compulsive or uncontrolled use of one or more substances. What Is An Opioid?

Opioids include legally prescribed drugs used for pain relief, such as oxycodone, hydrocodone, codeine, morphine, and many others. They can also include illegal drugs such as heroin and fentanyl. They interact with nerve cells in the brain and body. Because they produce euphoria in addition to pain relief, they are prone to misuse. For more information on opioids, click here.

The Chandler I AM Project

The Chandler IAM Project is a collaborative effort initiated by the Chandler Police Department in response to the growing tide of overdoses in our community. We believe that every person should be afforded the opportunity to receive treatment regardless of their financial means.

What is the Chandler I AM Project?

The Chandler I AM Project offers hope, quality treatment, resources, and support for those affected by opioid addiction. We believe that every person should be afforded the opportunity to receive treatment regardless of their financial means.

How are services accessed?

Visit the Chandler I AM Project any first or third Tuesday from 1-5pm. We are located at 1900 S. Arrowhead Drive, Chandler, AZ 85286.

What can I expect from Counseling?

Our volunteers will provide an assessment in order to determine an individuals needs and what resources might be appropriate. Together you and the volunteer will develop a plan together.

Do you offer support and resources for family members?
Yes, family is always welcome and will also have support available to them during this process.
Is help available for children under the age of 18?
Yes, we are also available to provide resources and support for family members that have children under the age of 18.

The second annual fundraising event is nearly here. On August 17th 2019, Join us for a Golf Tournament at the San Marcos Golf followed by Dinner and Auction at the Crowne Plaza.

Your donation will go toward ensuring every person be afforded the opportunity to receive treatment regardless of their financial means. Thank you in advance for your contribution.

Teenagers - A quarter of all high school seniors report having used or abused prescription opioids.

Grandparents - Ages 55-64 experienced the greatest increase for overdose death rates.

Parents - The 45-54 age group has the highest overall rates of fatal overdose.

Women - 400% rise in overdose deaths from prescription pain relievers, and heroin overdose deaths tripled.
